Specification of FORMALIN 37 % CAIR EX IMPORT LOKAL
Formaldehyde, formaldehyde, is an aldehyde with the chemical formula H2CO, which is a gas or liquid known as formalin, or a solid known as paraformaldehyde or trioxane.
Usefulness [edit | edit source]
Formaldehyde can be used to kill most bacteria, so it is often used as a disinfectant and also as a preservative. As a disinfectant, Formaldehyde is also known as formaldehyde and is used as a cleanser; floors, ships, warehouses and clothing.
Formaldehyde is also used as a preservative in vaccinations. In the medical field, formaldehyde solutions are used to dry the skin, for example, to remove warts. Solutions of formaldehyde are often used in embalming to kill bacteria and temporarily preserve carcasses.
In industry, formaldehyde is mostly used in the production of polymers and various chemicals. When combined with phenol, urea, or melamine, formaldehyde produces a tough thermoset resin. This resin is used for permanent glue, for example those used for plywood or carpets. Also in the form of foam as insulation. More than 50% of formaldehyde production is spent on formaldehyde resin production.
As formalin, a solution of this chemical compound is often used as an insecticide and raw material for plastic resin and explosives factories.
